FWA will be the first academy fully dedicated to wine education, offering regular courses from the renown Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), from level 1 (basic), to level 2 (intermediate) and level 3 (advanced).

The first course offered by FWA will commence on December 3rd, and it will be a WSET Level 1 course in English. For more information on the course, or how to sign up, please visit

Demand for wine and spirit education continues to accelerate at the WSET, where a total of 72,171 exams were taken globally in the academic year finishing July 31, 2016. According to Harper’s Magazine, this was an increase of 17%, marking 14 consecutive years of growth for WSET.

All courses at FWA are conducted by Director of Wine Education Alessandra Esteves, DipWSET, at our Miami location. Ms. Esteves has the level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits, the highest WSET qualification available, and only achieved by nine thousand people in the entire world, since 1969.

Such expertise is in high demand from both personal and corporate operations. All courses will be taught in English, with occasional classes in Spanish and Portuguese. The calendar with all the classes will be online as of next week.
