Explore Bordeaux: A Journey Through the Left and Right Banks

Join us on October 23rd, 2024, from 7 to 9 PM for an evening dedicated to the wines of Bordeaux’s Left and Right Banks. Hosted by Alessandra Esteves, DipWSET, official Bordeaux educator, co-founder of Florida Wine Academy and MW Candidate, this event offers a chance to taste and compare some of the region’s finest offerings.

Bordeaux is famously divided by the Gironde River, with the Left Bank known for its structured, Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines, and the Right Bank celebrated for its softer, Merlot-driven blends. During the tasting, you’ll explore these differences firsthand with a selection of outstanding wines:

  • Le Lion de La Fleur de Bouard 2020 – Lalande de Pomerol
  • Chateau Caroline 2018 – Moulis-En-Medoc
  • Hospitalet de Gazin 2019 – Pomerol
  • Famille J M Cazes Saint Estephe 2018 – St Estephe
  • Clos de L’Oratoire Grand Cru Classe 2000 – St Emilion Grand Cru
  • Chateau Pedesclaux Grand Cru Classe 2005 – Pauillac
  • Surprise wine blind tasting

Price: $160. This is a sit-down tasting. Price includes wines, speaker, water, small bites, all service and fees.

Date: Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 7pm to 9pm.
