Wine offers a unique sensory experience, attributable to hundreds of aromas and flavors that can be traced back to different grape varieties and winemaking techniques. Being able to identify these aromas and flavors can help you understand your personal preferences, thereby enhancing your overall wine drinking experience. It can also impart confidence when ordering, purchasing, and discussing wine. Join us for this introductory level class where we will be exploring the great diversity of red wine through five different varietals: Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Franc.

We will taste the following wines:

  • Olga Raffault Chinon 2020
  • Saint Romain Domaine Taupenot-Merme 2019
  • Beronia Crianza 2019
  • El Enemigo 2019
  • Jim Barry Coonawara Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Nicole Briz, WSET Level 3 Certified will present the tasting.

Price: $79. This is a sit-down tasting. Price includes wines, water, educator, and service. The wines will be paired with cheese, charcuterie, and small bites.
