The Moro family is one of the most deeply rooted producers in Ribera del Duero.  It all started in the 1920s, when Emilio Moro planted his first vineyard.  His son, also Emilio Moro, was born in 1932.  He learned the art of making wine and developed a passion of the land from his father.  This passion was transmitted to the third generation of the family, who now run the winery.  After all these years producing wines for Bodegas Emilio Moro, this third generation began a new project, Bodegas Cepa 21, in one of the coldest areas of Ribera del Duero.
Alberto Medina Moro, a member of the family’s fourth generation, will lead the tasting.  He has had a love of wine and winemaking since he was a child.  Now 26 and a WSET Level 3 in Wines certificate holder, Alberto is the Sales Manager for the United States.
During this tasting we will try the following wines:
  • La Revelia
  • Hito Rosado
  • Cepa 21
  • Emilio Moro
  • Malleolus
  • Malleolus de Sanchomartin

Date: November 7th, 2019, from 7 pm to 8.30pm.
