This was my first opportunity to go on an educational, guided wine tour and the bar has now been set extremely high. We were provided with a clear agenda and a great Germany wine book before we left so we were able to get familiar with some of the wines we would be trying. I felt absolutely spoiled by the quality of the hotels and meals provided. Each location was comfortable and full of amenities, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. We were treated to some fantastic lunches and dinners, and each morning breakfast was provided. As for the winery visits I think they were carefully selected to show high quality wines that truly reflected their regions. We toured the facilities and were assisted by representatives from each winery who were clearly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. We were transported between wineries and hotels on a comfortable mini bus that allowed us to rest and see the beautiful scenery of Pfalz, Rheingau, Rheinhessen and the Mosel Valley. Alessandra and Cynthia were the perfect guides as they were able to share their knowledge of the wines and the country as both had lived or are currently living there. I came away from the trip with such a deeper understanding of the region and the wines from having been there and seeing the vines, the soils, the slopes, all with my own eyes. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Florida Wine Academy. You can be sure you will be extremely well taken care of and learn more than you maybe thought possible.

Beautiful experience and phenomenal wines! The trip to Germany with the Florida Wine Academy was absolutely amazing! It was very well organized. The best way to meet the producers and have a 1-1 technical discussion about their winemaking techniques. Would absolutely recommend it to any wine enthusiast. Looking forward to the next trip!
