Florida Wine Academy offers consulting for bars, restaurants, importers, distributors, as well as on-site training services. These are aimed at helping restaurants design their wine lists, including both selection of varietals and labels, along advice on whether to serve by the glass or bottle – and at what price. Florida Wine Academy also provides training for staff on wine pairing, handling, and service.
This knowledge is beneficial for beverage and hospitality professionals of all levels: servers can better advise patrons; restaurant managers and wine buyers can better discern the cost/value relationship when buying wine; wine importers and resellers can more intelligently market their products; and consumers can more intimately engage with their beverage of choice.
Located in Miami, Florida, Florida Wine Academy provides instruction in English and is also capable of teaching in Spanish and Portuguese, if required.
