Our online course covers a broad range of topics, including the main types and styles of wine, common wine grapes and their characteristics, wine storage and service principles, food and wine pairing fundamentals, and how to describe wine using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT). Assessment is through a closed-book exam, consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions. Students enrolled in the WSET Level 1 Wine online will take the exams online via Remote Invigilation. This setup allows candidates to sit for the exam in a secure environment at home, monitored through webcam and screen-sharing technology. The exam price is included in the course fee, and you can expect to receive your results within 4-6 weeks.
