We are proud to offer Spanish Wine Scholar as a hybrid course, taught by Alessandra Esteves DipWSET, SWS, FWS, CSW, MW candidate and Carolina Gonzalez, WSET Level 3 Certified, SWS.

Assessment
The exam is comprised of 100 multiple-choice questions and the passing score is 75%. Candidates scoring 85-90 pass with “Honors”. Candidates scoring 91-100 pass with “Highest Honors”. Students have one hour to complete the exam. There is no wine tasting component on the exam.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration you can do so for a $35 administrative fee. Kindly note that the cost of the printed study materials is non-refundable. Making changes to your registration with 13 business days of the course start date will result in an administrative fee of $200.
Who is this Program for?
This advanced study program is designed for all committed students of wine, including:
- Wine professionals wishing to specialize in the wines of Spain.
- Aspiring wine professionals looking to enter the wine industry with serious knowledge on the wines of Spain.
- Serious wine hobbyists as well as those interested in Spanish culture and lifestyle.
You must be at least 21 years of age to attend the course and to participate in any alcohol tasting. A minimum of 5 students is needed for this course.
The Class Format
In-person Class: June 28th, 2025 from 9am to 4pm in Miami. A one-day intensive class in Miami, including a tasting of 12 wines. Class will take place at 305 Wines (8233 South Dixie Highway, Miami FL, 33143).
Webinar Sessions: July 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, 2025. Live, interactive classes, where students will have the chance to ask questions and receive answers in real time. The virtual classes will take place once a week on Monday nights via Zoom, from 6 to 8:30pm. All sessions will be recorded. The final session will be a review class.
The Exam: August 19th, 2025 at 6pm. The exam will take place at 305 Wines (8233 South Dixie Highway, Miami FL, 33143).
