The Great Clos of Champagne

Join us on October 23, 2026, for Day 5 of Miami Champagne Week and the grand finale of our 10th edition: The Great Clos of Champagne, an extraordinary masterclass featuring a lineup of over $5,000 in Champagne.

A clos is a historically enclosed vineyard, and some of Champagne’s most celebrated and sought-after wines come from these individual sites. This tasting brings together eight remarkable Champagnes spanning different villages, producers, grape varieties and vintages.

The lineup includes:

  • Champagne Krug Clos du Mesnil 2006
  • Champagne Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises 2009
  • Champagne Billecart-Salmon Le Clos Saint-Hilaire 2009
  • Champagne Philipponnat Clos des Goisses 2002
  • Champagne Pommery Les Clos Pompadour 2003 – Magnum
  • Champagne Lanson Clos Lanson 2007
  • Champagne Leclerc Briant Le Clos des Trois Clochers 2017
  • Champagne Doyard Clos de l’Abbaye 2018

One wine in the lineup is technically not a Clos: Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises. It belongs in this tasting because it comes from two tiny, walled parcels in Aÿ, Clos Saint-Jacques and Chaudes Terres, planted with rare ungrafted Pinot Noir vines and farmed using the traditional en foule method. It offers a fascinating counterpoint to the single-Clos wines in the lineup.

Led by Alessandra Esteves, DipWSET, Official Champagne Educator and MW Candidate, the masterclass will explore the vineyards, history and winemaking behind each wine and what makes these exceptional sites so distinctive.

Cost: $630 (Limited spots available). Water, wines, catering and service included.

Date: Friday, October 23rd, 2026, from 7 PM to 9 PM

Address: 305 Wines, 8233 S Dixie Highway, Miami, FL 33143
