Florida Wine Academy announces new online courses

Miami, FL.  Florida Wine Academy has recently launched a number of new online certification courses.  The expanding portfolio of offerings includes WSET Level 3 Award in Wines, WSET Level 1 and 2 in Spirits, and WSET Level 1 Award in Wines.  

These courses are part of the qualifications offered by the prestigious Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), globally recognized as the international standard in wine, spirit and sake knowledge. 

“We are very excited to be able to offer these new options to our students” said Alessandra Esteves, co-founder and Director of Education for the school.  “The online structure will allow students from other cities, states and even countries to earn these certificates and continue their education.”  The online courses can run from between 4-8 weeks of study and range in price from $235-$995.  “The curriculum and topics covered are the same as the in-person course, so students can get the same quality education while studying on their own schedule and at the location they choose” said Ms. Esteves.  The exams will need to be taken in person at the academy, but scheduling can be flexible and determined well in advance so students can arrange travel if necessary.
