Florida Wine Academy announces VinoSummit 2020

Florida Wine Academy announces the dates for VinoSummit, the first conference dedicated to wine professionals in the south eastern United States. The inaugural conference in 2019 was a one-day program that took place at the Biltmore Hotel in south Miami. This year the program has expanded to a two-day event which will take place in Miami on March 8th & 9th, 2020, once again at the Biltmore Hotel.

The presenters will feature 4 Master Sommeliers: Max Kast, MS, Director of Education for Broadbent Wines; Eric Hemer, MS, MW, Senior Vice President and Director of Wine Education at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits of America; Matthew Citriglia, MS, Director of Wine Education for SGWS Florida; Joseph Spellman, MS, of JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery.

Program

Day 1 begins with 4 seminars and concludes with a Sparkling Wine Networking Hour sponsored by Champagne Charles Heidsieck & Folio Fine Wines. Day 2 follows with 5 seminars and the Grand Tasting, where participants will have the opportunity to taste more than 100 wines.

VinoSummit continues to do this, along with Miami Champagne Week and the Masterclasses, Labs and Seminars we host on a weekly basis.”

Tickets

Tickets to the full-day event are $429 and include all educational seminars, a coffee break and sponsored lunch each day, materials, and participation in the walk around tasting. There is also the option to purchase a one-day ticket for anyone who cannot attend the full program. Tickets for each day are priced at $319. All tickets will need to be purchased in advance through the website or by calling Florida Wine Academy directly. There will be no same-day registration.
